Infinite loop is the street name of the street goes around the Apple headquarter in Cupertino.

Infinite loop has a general meaning, but for a geek, of course, it has a special meaning. An infinite loop is a bug in a computer system which makes the computer spin and not leave the loop, that is, the computer is caught in an infinite loop. For the user it means the computer is frozen.

Wow, hard to believe! I can't imagine this is official policy though, after all Microsoft needs Apple and Sun to avoid more lawsuits because of their monopolist's position.
